Shajarian visits Saba exhibitions

TEHRAN, Jan. 2 (MNA) -- Iranian vocalist Mohammadreza Shajarian paid a visit to three art exhibits currently underway at the Saba Art and Cultural Center on January 1.

He visited exhibitions of Iran’s traditional arts (“Forgotten Treasuries”), paintings and photos of architecture designed by Mir Hossein Musavi, and Kyrgyz artists’ paintings.

 

The showcase will continue until January 7 at the venue, which is located on Mozaffar St., Taleqani Ave, near Felestin Square.

 

 

Fajr festival to screen Bergman films

 

TEHRAN -- Iran’s 26th Fajr International Film Festival will screen 11 films by the late Swedish filmmaker Ingmar Bergman.

 

“The Presence of a Clown”, “Autumn Sonata”, “The Face”, “Wild Strawberries”, “The Magic Flute”, and “The Seventh Seal” are some of the films that will be shown.

 

 

Homayun Shajarian to sing one song for “Green Fire” soundtrack

 

TEHRAN -- Iranian vocalist Homayun Shajarian will sing one song for the soundtrack of Mohammadreza Aslani’s film “Green Fire”.

 

Mohammadreza Darvishi has composed the soundtrack music for the film based on his composition “Unmarked”.
